Of course, you’ll need a hearty breakfast and fortunately for you, Hungry Jack’s on Main Street had got that well in hand. A local favourite with a lovely side door patio has all the fixings you’ll need as you map our your action packed day.
Now, your choice will be to float the river, walk the river or hike far above it on the epic Enderby Cliffs.
If you got an early start, and it happens to be Friday, catch the tail end of the region’s largest Farmer’s Market on the grounds of the stunning Splatsin Community Centre.
Chill for a bit over ice cream at Belvedere park where you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool or peruse the outdoor museum. Once you’ve rested a bit, head out to Waterside Winery for a wine tasting. This small batch vineyard and winery uses estate grown and Okanagan grown grapes in its wide selection of wines.
If you’re ready for dinner, consider the Small Ax Roadhouse by the river. Then pack up the car and head out to an action packed movie on the big screen – the biggest in North America in fact – at the Starlight Drive In. And if you nod off during the second movie, we don’t blame you. It’s been a big bid day in the Little City.
