Spooktacular October 19 & 20, 2024 at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum
Get ready to be spooked! Prepare for a hair-raising adventure on October 19 and 20 at the spine-chilling return of Spooktacular at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum. Located at 751 Highway 97 B Salmon Arm, gates open at 5:00 pm for this ghoulishly delightful evening of family-friendly fun. Scary and not-so-scary amusements will keep you entertained until 8:30 pm. Remember, the last admission through the gate is at 7:30 pm.
Gate admission is $15.00 per person, but ghouls and ghosts ages five years and under are free. A responsible adult must accompany ghouls and ghosts under 12.
As the sun sets, the village transforms into a realm of eerie enchantment. Wander through the “Pumpkin Patch Path,” filled with whimsical games and treats for little ghouls. Or gather in Mt Ida Church for not-so-scary tales of Halloween mischief.
But beware, for the Mystical Fortune Teller awaits, ready to unveil your darkest secrets. And for those feeling brave, dare to face the Menacing Mad Scientist and his electric chair diagnosis. Test your luck at the “Hocus Pocus Midway” or capture a memory with the wizard Gandalf at the Photo Studio.
If you dare, venture across the bridge of “Last Hope” where “Shady Lane” beckons with chilling surprises. Explore the transformed shops of the Merchant Block, now harbouring bone-chilling horrors.
Embark on a terrifying journey through the Fraser Avenue Haunted House, then summon your courage for the Spook Trail, where unearthly creatures lurk in the shadows. But be warned, this path is not for the faint of heart!
When hunger strikes, satisfy your cravings at the onsite food vendors, or take a break at the “RIP Coloring Pavilion” for some spooky crafts. And don’t forget to warm your bones by the fire pit.
