Secwépemc Landmarks: Písell Unveiling and Wildfire Evacuee Fundraiser

Please join us to celebrate the unveiling of the Písell (Trout) Secwépemc Landmark sculpture at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum on Saturday, September 16th at 2pm. Písell means “trout” in Secwepemctsín (Secwépemc language). This is part of a series of 16 sculptures that will be installed throughout Secwepemculecw over the next year. The unveiling will be taking place as a fundraiser for wildfire evacuees, with on-site donations to the Shuswap Community Foundation Emergency Response Fund.
