Scotch Tasting with Horse Drawn Okanagan
September 28 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$65What better way to celebrate the fall harvest than with a scotch tasting event at a Clydesdale farm.
Horse Drawn Okanagan is hosting a new event at Black Isle Farms in Enderby, on Saturday, September 28th. The tasting will be led by Andrew Laird, of Okanagan Spirits. He will guide us through the different qualities of each of the 4 scotch samples with a blind tasting – note cards provided. Not only is there going to be a great selection of four single malts, but guests will also enjoy a wagon ride to the oat field with our Clydesdales, bagpipe music by Don MacLeod of North Okanagan Pipes and Drums, a horse drawn plowing demonstration with 2 teams of Clydesdales, and of course, Scottish themed appetizers served out of our Vintage Horse Trailer Bar.
Farm gates open at 3:00pm (if you’d like to watch the horses get harnessed), wagons depart at 4:00pm, and the event wraps up when the sun goes down. Tickets are $65 +gst per person. Pre-registration required. Contact Kelly MacIntosh 250-540-7344 or horsedrawnokanagan@gmail.com No minors. No pets. This event is held outdoors on a 200 acre hay farm, please dress accordingly.
