106th Falkland Stampede
May 16 - May 18
The Falkland Stampede is a cherished annual sporting event held each spring in Falkland, British Columbia. Recognized as one of Canada’s oldest continuous rodeo traditions, the Stampede has grown from a small post-war picnic in 1919 into a vibrant three-day celebration of western heritage, community spirit, and high-energy rodeo competition.
Over the May long weekend, visitors from across Canada, the United States and beyond gather in the scenic town of Falkland to enjoy a packed schedule of activities and entertainment. The Stampede features professional and competitive rodeo events, including bareback riding, team roping, barrel racing, and more, showcasing the skills of cowboys and cowgirls from across the region.
