Tsútswecw Provincial Park is a perfect place to witness the Adams River Sockeye Salmon Run every October. Herald Park and Shuswap Lake Provincial Park are great for families. Unique outdoor experiences await at Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park. First come, first serve campsites on the main arm, Seymour Arm, Anstey Arm, Salmon Arm and Mara Lake offer beaches, trails, and awe-inspiring scenery. Rent a boat or take a water taxi to water access-only areas for an unforgettable visit. History buffs will enjoy Silver Beach Provincial Park, located in Seymour Arm, at the site of Ogden City, an old gold rush town. Seymour Arm, as it’s now known, is worth the cruise (via forest service road or water) for the laid-back atmosphere, sandy beach and destination campground.
